Spalted Sycamore Cookies

Spalted Sycamore has dark veins caused by fungi in the wood. This wood is very decorative and therefore very popular with woodworkers.

Our live edge Spalted Sycamore cookies range from about 20" to 38" wide.  Occasionally, we do get wider pieces, but those almost always sell first, as some people use them to make large coffee tables or breakfast tables.  Some people even cut the cookies in to sections and make epoxy dining tables.

Widths are random, and you can see how, as they get wider, the cost per board foot does increase.

All our cookies have been flattened on top and bottom, making them ready for your immediate use.

As with all our lumber, we sell Spalted Sycamore cookies by the board foot.  So, the prices below are the per-board-foot price.  We will pick the slab(s) that best matches the number of board feet you order, or you can come to our shop and pick out the slab(s) you want, and we will go from there.
