Black Walnut Shiplap

We stock Black Walnut dimensional lumber at our headquarters in Spring, TX, and it is one of our best selling species of lumber, hands down. But this (shiplap) would be made via special order, and our minimum purchase amount is 1,000 SF.

The two grades of Black Walnut shiplap we offer are SEL/COM and FAS. SEL/COM grade Black Walnut will also have a higher frequency of knots, cracks, voids, etc. than the FAS grade, but it will also have some "character" that you typically don't see in the clearer FAS grade boards.

You will have more waste with the SEL/COM grade shiplap, so please do account for that. (We suggest ordering 10% more than the job requires, to compensate for what you likely will discard.) But do know that what you will keep will be absolutely stunning and last a lifetime, provided you care for it properly.

By default, shiplap boards are milled 3/4" thick and will have tongue and groove (T&G) edges, to help with the installation process.

We sell shiplap and hardwood flooring by the square foot, and we sell it in bundles. You must purchase no less than 1,000 square feet, and we offer volume discounts for half semi loads and full semi loads.

Freight rates for dimensional lumber, shiplap, hardwood flooring, etc. must be calculated (on our end) before we are able to process your order, and this will vary, depending on the amount of lumber you need, distance, etc. Therefore, before placing your order, we ask that you please send us a message so that we can generate a quote for you.
