Live Edge Spalted Pecan Lumber

Pecan has slightly lower strength values than some of the other species of Hickory, but it is still among the hardest and strongest of woods native to the United States. The wood is commonly used where strength or shock-resistance is important. As the common name implies, Carya illinoinensis is the tree responsible for producing Pecan nuts commonly used in snacks and cooking recipes, and is the state tree of Texas.

We pride ourselves in sourcing quality lumber from all over the world, and we love lumber with figure.  Spalted Pecan is truly something to behold, but it is also one of those things that you either really like, or you just don't.  If you do like Spalted lumber, then you will love our Spalted Pecan.

Our live edge Spalted Pecan boards are, for the most part, about 96" long.  Occasionally, we do get longer and wider pieces, but those almost always sell first.  Widths are random, and you can see how, as they get wider, the cost per board foot does increase.

All our live edge lumber comes surfaced on top and bottom, and the boards are finished to 15/16" thick, perfect for charcuterie boards, serving trays, and much more.

As with all our lumber, we sell Spalted Pecan by the board foot.  So, the prices below are the per-board-foot price.  We will pick the slab(s) that best matches the number of board feet you order, or you can come to our shop and pick out the slab(s) you want, and we will go from there.
