Live Edge Olive Lumber

I source Olive directly from Turkey where, arguably, some of the most highly figured Olive Wood comes from.

The Olive grapes are more valuable to the natives than the lumber itself, and the tree is incredibly so growing.  Therefore, people do not fell Olive trees as they would most any other species.  Instead, they only harvest the lumber once the tree dies of natural causes.  And because the trees are, generally speaking, not very tall, and because their live edge appearance is much more desirable than dimensional form, Olive is only sold in live edge.

Our live edge Olive boards range from about 42" to 54" long.  Occasionally, we do get longer and wider pieces, but those almost always sell first, as they are quite rare.  Widths are random, and you can see how, as they get wider, the cost per board foot does increase.

All our live edge lumber comes surfaced on top and bottom, and the boards are finished to 15/16" thick, perfect for charcuterie boards, serving trays, and much more.

As with all our lumber, we sell Olive by the board foot.  So, the prices below are the per-board-foot price.  We will pick the slab(s) that best matches the number of board feet you order, or you can come to our shop and pick out the slab(s) you want, and we will go from there.
