Ambrosia Maple Cookies

The Ambrosia Beetle is an insect that bores into trees and leaves behind a fungus which gives the Ambrosia Maple its unique appearance. Ambrosia Maple is not a distinct species of Maple; as is the case with Curly Maple or Spalted Maple.

Our live edge Ambrosia Maple cookies range from about 14" to 38" wide, and we have single, double and triple Ambrosia Maple cookies.  Occasionally, we do get wider pieces, but those almost always sell first, as some people cut them in to sections and make dining tables with them.  Widths are random, and you can see how, as they get wider, the cost per board foot does increase.

All our cookies have been flattened on top and bottom, making them ready for your immediate use.

As with all our lumber, we sell Ambrosia Maple cookies by the board foot.  So, the prices below are the per-board-foot price.  We will pick the slab(s) that best matches the number of board feet you order, or you can come to our shop and pick out the slab(s) you want, and we will go from there.
