Red Oak Lumber

A classic distinctive grain pattern in a strong and durable wood. Red oak is not a bad choice for a beginner woodworker who needs a nice wood that's tough enough for furniture, yet not too heavy or hard to work with basic tools.

We source Red Oak from the Midwest, so you are getting premium Red Oak. (Dense hardwood species grow better in areas of higher elevation and in less humid environments.)

We stock FAS grade Red Oak at our headquarters in Spring, TX. All our dimensional lumber is milled S3S, and the prices listed below are the per-board-foot prices.

If you are picking up locally, you are welcome to get as little or as much as you need. If, however, you need your lumber shipped, we require a minimum purchase of 250BF.

Freight rates for dimensional lumber must be calculated (on our end) before we are able to process your order, and this will vary, depending on the amount of lumber you need, distance, etc. Therefore, before placing an order for full length dimensional lumber, we ask that you please send us a message so that we can generate a quote for you.
